The "worst part" of bug 465876 was fixed in M7 respin. The only remaining "decrease" in versioning is for o.e.j.core.tests.builder IUs in current repo that decrease versions Count: 1 IU id Reference (old) version Current (new) version org.eclipse.jdt.core.tests.builder 3.10.2.v20150114-2132 3.10.0.v20150423-0947 I'll attach full reports. Some of the remaining work (to decide what to do about "qualifier increase only") might be easier to deal with once bug 243854 is fixed.

I don't see neither the MANIFEST nor pom of that project ever having that version (3.10.2) in recent commit history. I will bump the version anyway, but it will be interesting to know how we ended up with this.
I agree, I do not see it in Git. I did double check the Luna SR2 repo, and it does have 3.10.2 ? Something is weird. I have updated the bundle version to 3.10.3 now.

Oh, no, not so weird after all. In my case, my R4_4_maintenance branch was not "up to date" in my workspace, and after fetching, switching, and pulling, I can see 3.10.2 at the head of R4_4_maintenance branch. It appears in Luna stream we "jumped" from 3.9.3 to 3.10.2 ...
