Description Mark Macdonald CLA 2015-04-24 09:37:21 EDT
While the editor is open, it steals the F2 key from the navigator:

1. Open the folder view on some folder.
2. Highlight an item in the navigator and press F2.
The "Rename" command runs. This is the expected result.
4. Now click on a text file to open the Orion editor in the RHS pane.
5. Highlight an item in navigator and press F2. This time nothing happens.

Not sure when this problem began. I don't have a build older than 2015-04-13 to test against.

I'm guessing that F2 is being taken by the open tooltip command for the editor.
Comment 2 Curtis Windatt CLA 2015-04-30 13:23:30 EDT
Confirmed that this is caused by the Show Tooltip editor command having the same keybinding. The visibleWhen callback isn't activated as selection changes so the command is always active. Unless there is a way when the command is activated to tell the command registry to run any other commands with the same keybinding, perhaps we should just change the current keybinding.
