I know that we have passed M6, I we would like to add the e4 tools to the RCP EPP. The e4 tools have been recently moved to the platform project and are available from there. The tools are essential from day one to build e4 applications (the new PDE). User have been confused in the past, that they have to install "the" official tooling from an incubation update site and that it is not already part of their Eclipse. I therefore think this is a really important step for the user experience when get started with the Eclipse 4 Application Platform. UI contributions: - Wizards to create a Eclipse 4 template project and e4 artefacts (application model and fragments) - Editor to work with fragments and the application model Feature ID: org.eclipse.e4.core.tools.feature.feature.group The tools are already available in the latest integration build.
(In reply to Jonas Helming from comment #0) > - Wizards to create a Eclipse 4 template project Just for clarification, this wizard is currently beeing integrated into PDE, once done, I will remove it from the e4 tools
@Lars: Could you please make sure, that the wizards are in the EPPs then.

OK, so it would make sense to add the remainign tools to all EPPs which have PDE on board then, right?

Should this Bug be marked as fixed?
Verified that the feature is included in the RCP/RAP package of the last build at https://hudson.eclipse.org/packaging/job/mars.epp-tycho-build/208/. Closing as fixed.
