When we try to edit a NON-CVS read only file, we get get a message File xxxx is 
read-only in the file window. To see the file again, we have to close it, and 
open again. This is very very irritating.
Instead, a dialog box which provides an option to edit the file would be more 
preferrable. This option can also be provided in preferences dialog.
