It would be nice if the synchronize view would show the CVS comments of 
incoming changes.

You could get a quick overview of what has changed, without doing a compare or 
looking in the cvs resource history.

The comment could be shown after the filename, and/or as a tooltip.
e.g. like this:
- myFolder
    [icon] myIncomingFile.txt 1.2 (ASCII -kkv) - hboeger: Changed x to y.

Maybe only the first x characters should be shown after the filename, and you 
get the full comment (also with line breaks) as a tool tip if you hover over 
the filename.
