I want to get rid of the default Navigator view that is shown in the Debug perspective and use PHP Explorer instead. This is not currently possible because NothingHappens™ when I choose Window -> Show View -> Other -> PHP Explorer. The view simply isn't added anywhere. I even tried to create a new window, add PHP Explorer to it (that worked), and then drag the view by its tab to the first window (that didn't work). I know I can Reset Perspective, but please don't close this bug on that ground. A workaround is not a fix, plus I would have to painstakingly rebuild the arrangement of views.
Can you provide PDT version you are using (Help->About->Installation details)? I tried to add PHP Explorer to Debug perspective and PHP Explorer was added at the bottom of window, next to Browser Output. You can also try install latest nightly build (http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/latest-nightly/) and try the same steps to verify if it is also visible. If problem will be still visible then please also attach log file from <workspace>/.metadata/.log.
No answer since year, probably fixed indirectly. I'm able to open PHP Explorer in debug perspective in latest (4.0) snapshot. Marking as fixed. Please reopen if you nod agree.
Looks OK to me too. Closing
