Description David Williams CLA 2014-12-12 13:24:58 EST
There are a lot of "build ids" that end up being "hard coded" in "performance results" as performance.ui creates the php type files. ... of of course, is contained in files names, in some cases, such as for "gif files". For example,

FP_org.eclipse.swt_R-4.4_I20141210-2000.linux.gtk.x86_64_linear.gif

During our current "promote" scripts, that gets renamed to

FP_org.eclipse.swt_R-4.4_4.5M4.linux.gtk.x86_64_linear.gif

Which then makes images "not found" since the generated link assumes the original value.

For M4, I plan to fix by simply not renaming any gif files.

But, does leave open the question of what we want it to be. Seems it will be complicated to rename to properly refer to a "milestone" or "release".

Though, generated probably how more "hard coded" values than it should have?

I meant:

Though, the generated code probably has more "hard coded" values than it should have?

added bug 455406 as "related" ... it is not literally a "depends on".

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
