Screen ilustrating the problem.

The commit dialog is not showing any content in path column. The status column is OK. Updating EGit to 3.5.1 did not resolve problem.

Operating system Lunux Mint Debian Cinnamon.

Ask for more specific informations if required.

Is the path shown when you select one of the rows? Do you have the same behavior in other tables in Eclipse? I suspect it might be an issue with the theme, have you tried switching to another one (just to see if the problem is related to that)?

Same problem here. EGit 4.0.0 (from Mars).
It was OK few hours earlier with the same theme, before upgrade to Mars.
Selecting a row doesn't help. Tested on 2 popular themes: Radiance and Adwaita.
Setting env var SWT_GTK3=0 helps.
