Description Simon Arsenault CLA 2003-10-17 09:40:06 EDT
I have a dual monitor setup where my second monitor is located to the left of
my primary monitor. My start bar is to the left of my primary monitor and
always visible.

- open an eclipse window with a java perspective and move that window to the
second monitor.
- open a java file editor
- hover the mouse pointer over the editor tab and wait for the tool tip to be
displayed.

==> Notice it is displayed on the primary monitor instead of the second
monitor. And partially hidden by the start bar.

cannot reproduce this (or bug 45095) on my W2K machine. I am using a Matrox G450
Dual Head with the same configuration (Taskbar positioned vertically at the left
hand side of the left monitor), but also tried others.

My video driver:

Provider: Matrox Graphics Inc.
Date: 28.9.2001
Version: 5.72.21.0

Simon,
can you attach a screenshot? Thanks

Christophe came over to my office to see the problem. Probably has something to
do with negative coordinates. They important part of my setup is my primary
monitor is on the right, and the secondary monitor is on the left.

I can reproduce the problem
Comment 5 Christophe Cornu CLA 2003-10-20 10:11:19 EDT
Moving to Veronika. Native widgets seem fine, CTabFolder seems to be checking
for negative coordinates.

Fixed in eclipse_look_3_0 - will not close until added to HEAD.
Comment 7 Veronika Irvine CLA 2004-05-13 16:25:15 EDT
Fixed a while ago in HEAD.
