Description Mark Macdonald CLA 2014-11-05 14:55:40 EST
Orion babel language packs are published at a suffix of this URL:
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/babel/orion_language_packs/

Can these pages be served over HTTPS?

The reason being, Orion's current installation mechanism for language packs relies on embedding the language pack in an IFRAME within a host website (most often OrionHub.org).

Modern browsers refuse to frame HTTP URLs inside HTTPS websites. This blocks end users from installing language packs from Babel (HTTP) into OrionHub (HTTPS).

This would depend on bug 444350.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I am assuming fixed, now that bug 444350 is fixed.

Please reopen if that is not the case.
