I'm entering this bug based on findings/conclusion of bug 407775. 

And even then, the main reason is that the fact that "uninstall" does not uninstall everything is likely a sign our IU metadata is not quiet right. 

I'm classifying as enhancement, since it'd be "nice to have" ... to confirm metadata was correct ... but, I do not know of any specific problems it causes anyone.

I don't think this is a bug, after all, but "working as designed" ... that p2 uninstall only removes what it installed, and all the "supplemental" files that Eclipse creates are left alone, since hard to know what's ok to delete, and what is not ok to delete.
