The JGit api provides a direct api for stash operations including apply, list and drop. As those commands rely on the stash ref, e.g. stash@{0}, this api is not well-suited for a concurrent environment, such as Orion's git support. In order to put ensure consistency, the git stash operations have to be synchronized using a repository lock.
