Using Ubuntu 14.04 with GTK3 3.10.8
LTTng 3.0

1. Open a trace
2. In the events table's search field, try to type text. As text is being typed, nothing is displayed.

You can still blindly enter the text and type enter and it still works.

The bug is not present with Ubuntu 13.10 with GTK3 3.8.6.

We need to investigate whether or not this is a bug in SWT-GTK3 or if it's a wrong usage of SWT APIs. If it's a bug, we need to produce a smaller example.

This does not happen on Ubuntu 12.04. Reducing severity since GTK3 is not the default with GTK 3.10.8 (for now!).
