Hi, is it possible I can get access to * https://hudson.eclipse.org/hudson/job/ep4-perf-lin64/ * https://hudson.eclipse.org/perftests/job/ep4-perf-lin64/ Part of my Google Summer of Code project is to get those up and running again.
Matthias work as GSoC project includes to run the Eclipse performance tests again. +1 for at least read access to the jobs from my side.
+1
Ok I've updated the ldap config on https://hudson.eclipse.org/perftests so that Matthias can login, and I've given him access to the ep4-perf-lin64 job. Matthias, you can login with your Eclipse.org password, I'll send your user id privately. -M.
Created attachment 243181 [details] junit and perf configs from shared hudson And I added anonymous read access to the related jobs. Better yet, I've attached the config.xml's from the "shared instance" of Hudson (not sure where the other "job" files are stored on file system). I say "better", since I think the easiest approach is to "experiment" with your own instance of Hudson as you learn how these work, and how to get them to work in a better, general way, that work "on anyone's machine". I've included both the "unit tests" and the "performance tests" configs, since one thing the performance tests need is to be brought "in line" with the the current unit tests. (The performance tests, are ran just like the unit tests, but with a few difference parameters). HTH

If they are not, those are potential improvements to the job configs.
Works. Thanks!
As https://hudson.eclipse.org/perftests is offline again, I assume that is not a box to be used in production? Don't want to interfere with your infrastructure especially so close to an important major release.

It is back online. Please let us know if it dies again, and we'll investigate further.
After a lot of trial and error I got it to run the https://build.vogella.com/ci/job/C-MASTER-TESTING-org.eclipse.test.performance/ws/platform-tests/eclipse-testing/results/ infrastructure. Shall I try to do the same at https://hudson.eclipse.org/perftests/job/ep4-perf-lin64/? It looks like it needs some work as it points to the deprecated eclipse.platform.releng.eclipsebuilder repository and has not been run for >1 year. The Hudson instance looks unused so I may not cause anyone trouble?
