Whenever I rename a file in the navigator view, two copies of the file (both
have the new name) appear in the navigator.  There appears to be only one real
copy, however.  Refreshing doesn't help.  If I restart eclipse, the problem
resolves itself.

Just realized this is probably a duplicate of bug 40214.
