We should provide our own preference page so that we can better categorize the linting options. I envision it having:

1. collapsible sections
2. filter box at the top
3. restore defaults button

4. have some way to provide more information for users on what each option is actually checking for. Perhaps a hover or a link that opens a popup?

Moving to the client.  Rather than improve just the validation page, a lot of the issues apply to all the generated settings pages (General, Cloud, Validation, etc.).

I will clone this bug for ongoing improvements such as filtering/commands.

Um, for a bug that says "improve look", I have to say this looks worse... There is now a huge empty space on the left hand side (1). Also, the drop-downs no longer align on the right hand side which looks very choppy (2).
