Description Douglas Pollock CLA 2003-09-12 08:33:32 EDT
Starting eclipse from a terminal causes a hang with only about 80MB of memory
allocated. Splash screen was not requested, and the main window had not yet
appeared. A full thread dump shows that GTK is hung in native code waiting to
read from the clipboard. Problem is corrected by copying something into the
clipboard (e.g., copying the thread dump and pasting it into GEdit!)

Using I20030910 on Linux-GTK, RedHat 9.0, GNOME desktop environment, Metacity
window manager.
