Description Darin Swanson CLA 2003-09-11 13:17:12 EDT
I20030910

I have "Show Problems view when build has errors or warnings" enabled
In the Team Synchronizing perspective, I have the Problems view as a fast view.
Whenever I update a resource (I have autobuild on), the Problems view is shown
even though no new warnings or errors are generated from the build.
I have the filters on the Problems view set to default except I set "On
selected resource and its children".

Disabling Show Problems view when build has errors or warnings" is the
workaround

It's not smart enough to detect the case where the compiler has removed
problems on a CU and then replaced them with the same ones.

It also does not currently take filtering into account.

It should at least handle filtering, and we may be able to make it smarter
about detecting when the markers have been replaced but there's no actual
change.

bug 34960 is similar

Reassigning bugs in component areas that are changing ownership.

The marker views no longer come to front, but use the tab italic/bold indication instead.
