It would be nice if there were some hooks to be able to format JavaScript source when the editor is saved.

It might also be useful to provide a command to format the source on demand.

Reopening and moving to platform.

We should provide the 'format on save' options in the editor, and make the formatting command / service a platform hook that plugins can contribute to per content type.

Not sure how to get that working as the formatting would be async from the save. I'll make some experiments.
