I noticed a few unnecessary casts and the like in the org.eclipse.e4.ui.css.* plug-ins. This creates errors if you a restrictive setup in your Eclipse IDE and may give potential Eclipse contributors a harder time to start.

I post a round of clean-ups in this Bug report.
