I think we must include org.eclipse.ui.images into our feature to consume it in the Eclipse IDE.

Dani raised some concerns that this change would significantly increase the size of the org.eclipse.e4.rcp.

An alternative for Luna might be that we keep org.eclipse.ui.images (or the renamed version of it) as optional bundle and copy the png files to their consuming plug-ins. This would IMHO be a valid approach. For Luna+1 we might want to revisit the idea of having one shared bundle for images.

We decided again adding this plug-in to the feature as this would increase the size of the feature significantly for RCP applications.
