When trying to reset a password with an email that has not been confirmed yet, the user is given the following a message: "Your email \ User <user> email has not been yet confirmed. Please follow the instructions from the confirmation email in your inbox and then request a password reset again." However, if the the user was not asked to confirm their email at the time they created their account, they are out of luck. They should still be able to reset their password, and then be asked to confirm their email again, before they can log in.
