I wanted to start a little discussion first, if we need Gerrit at the moment. Please add your opinion as comments or simply vote.

Gerrit is certainly useful for discussing and commenting changes. Only concern from my side is that it may block development in a relatively small community, as there will be times when no one is available to review a change.
So maybe leave a bypass open for critical bug fixes or minor changes.

I will trigger the transition to Gerrit after the Kepler release.
