Description Wayne Beaton CLA 2013-05-23 10:48:38 EDT
Xtext will contribute version 2.4.2 to Kepler. Since this is a service release, no review is required. An IP Log review is only required if there have been contributions accepted, or CQ changes since the previous release (i.e. only if the log has changed).

Note that per Bug 393682, the Modeling project has been restructured and mid-level "container" projects (e.g. modeling.emf, modeling.emft, etc.) have been marked for termination. This project will have to be moved into the top level project. In all likelihood, very little about the project will have to change.

Does this make sense: the project id will change from modeling.tmf.xtext to modeling.xtext

I believe that very little has to change. The id change will affect the location of the project information page, ip log generator, etc. I assume that these are of relatively little significance.

Xtext is currently under TMF in Bugzilla. I think it deserves its own product. Downloads, website, wiki, etc. changes are at your discretion. Let me know if you feel any of these things need to change.

Yes, that sounds good.

That would be great. Do I need to do anything else than agreeing to make that happen? :-)

The main website URL already is "eclipse.org/Xtext" so nothing needs to change there. The download links could be changed, but I think that can be done later.

Xtext is contributing a service release to Kepler. No further action is required.
