A patch to fix the Service Configuration preference page

Pressing the Restore defaults has no effect on the Service Configuration page does not do anything.  
I also noticed that if you change the index location for C/C++ configuration, to an invalid location, you cannot click on the button, because an error message pops up as soon as focus is lost from the entry field.
