Description Audrius Meskauskas CLA 2013-04-10 06:30:00 EDT
I use Eclipse main window and additional window separately on the desktop. Both main and additional window contains editor panes.

I have discovered that when switching from the editor in the main window into the editor in the additional window, the focus seems not transferred completely:

1. Some edit actions (like Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V, Del, etc) have effect on the previous document and not on the current document. However alphanumeric characters have are inserted into the current document. We have and interesting situation when some input is handled by one and some by another editor, changing both documents in a manner that may be difficult to predict.
2. The outline view still shows the outline of the previously focused document and not the currently focused document.
3. The focus is transferred correctly when switching between editors in the same window.
4. The focus is also transferred correctly when switching from the editor in the second window into the editor in the main window (only other way round does not work).
5. The simple work around is to click on the outline view in the second window before clicking on the editor in that second window.
