In 4.3 M6 ecj has SHA-1 for most classes, but not for those from 
org.eclipse.jdt.compiler.apt (e.g. AptSourceLocalVariableBinding).

This causes failure to run the compiler is some contexts as reported
in bug 404722 comment 2.

It seems M6 is the first ecj that got signed, right?

Yes, first one with "cbi build". Let's call this one a dup of bug 385154, even though that bug is about a whole collection of issues producing this jar with CBI ... this is one of the issues.

Fair enough, given that bug 385154 comment 41 mentions this exact problem :)
