Description Anton McConville CLA 2013-01-31 10:18:49 EST
I think there are a couple of problems.

First - I can't connect anymore - if I create a new SFTP project and enter in the credentials, it no longer connects or returns an error I see this in the console:

POST http://project.orion.eclipse.org:8080/workspace/C 500 (Invalid char to decode: 43)

Tried to connect to two addresses that were working in M2.

Second problem - for a drive that is connected ( I can't connect a drive again to recreate this, but I saw it before disconnecting a drive )- when I enter in the credentials and press connect on the SFTP dialog, another SFTP dialog pops up - it needs to be all integrated.

Second problem is captured by bug 399540. I'll use this one for the encoding problem.

I've been trying to reproduce the 500 error using the latest from master. I have tried various drive names and all connected with success. Can you give the exact name and URL that is failing.

Here is an example I just tried:

failure HAR

I was able to recreate the 500 error on Anton's self-hosted site at orion.eclipse.org. However, when I tried it from a self-hosted site running on my local machine, I couldn't reproduce it.

If this is a problem with the self-hosting proxy servlet (which it could be) -- then it's somehow only triggered from our hosting setup at Eclipse.org.

I've attached the failed request/response conversation that we captured from chrome. (cookies and username are stubbed out)

I haven't had any luck reproducing this.
