The First release of the R4E Mylyn Connector will not support opening the artifacts, because the cuurent R4E editor input is based on the UI Model, which is not used by the R4E JMylyn Connector.  However, with the efforts that are currently ongoing to converge R4E and the Gerrit connector, this will need to be revisited and this functionality added later on.

Mylyn has been restructured, and our issue tracking has moved to GitHub [1].

We are closing ~14K Bugzilla issues to give the new team a fresh start. If you feel that this issue is still relevant, please create a new one on GitHub.
