Description libing wang CLA 2013-01-18 16:47:44 EST
Found this issue when I was doing compare dojo removal.
I was typing "compare-" nad the openResource dialog said: "search fails"
In the browser console I got this :
GET http://libingw.orion.eclipse.org:8080/filesearch?sort=NameLower%20asc&rows=100&start=0&q=NameLower:compare\-*+Location:/file* 400 (Bad Request) .

I believe this is due to the Lucene escape function in the fileImpl.

dupe of bug 397865

If there is a problem with fileImpl then it only happens when you're self hosting. That makes me think selfhosting is to blame somehow.
