The old tasks view showed a summary of the number of tasks, errors, warnings 
and infos in the status line.  This is missing in the reworked view.

Code released in time for I20030930.  Javadoc altered slightly and released 
for post-I20030930.

This fix appears to cause severe degradation of performance with Problems 
Views containing 1000+ markers that are filtered through a working set or 
selection list.  See bug 44069.

Verified fixed in the Problems View in I20031216 (8am).  Note this no longer 
applies to the Tasks View.
