Screenshot

I20121106-0800

- new workspace
- paste this into Package Explorer:

package p;
public class C {
	public static void main(String[] args) {
		int i= 2;
		System.out.println(i);
	}
}

- Ctrl+Click these names to open a few more editors: String, Serializable, ObjectOutputStream, OutputStream

=> Active editor tab is not shown and a misplaced close box is rendered.

Only seems to happen the first time the CTabFolder overflows. I have to close all editors to reproduce again.

I can reproduce this with I20121113-0800. I will investigate this.
Comment 2 Bogdan Gheorghe CLA 2012-11-14 17:47:05 EST
Note that the width of the editor area has to be the exact same as the one in the screenshot and that the exact same sequence of tabs must be open in order for this to occur.

Markus has the magic touch...;-).

<grin> Rather the magic eye ;-). Like all magic, if you look behind the scenes, it's just precise work. I don't look for these things, but when they happen, I try to reproduce.

Also seen on GTK (I20130128-2000).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got
resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some
reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you
still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is
(for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the stalebug whiteboard tag.
