Description Michael Gruebsch CLA 2012-10-11 04:59:41 EDT
If TableComboViewer is initialized with SWT.READ_ONLY and an item is selected from the drop down table it is impossible to deselect this item again.

This is in contrast to a TableComboViewer without the SWT.READ_ONLY style flag set. Here one may enter any text or remove the text at all.

RFE: allow deselection in read-only table combo viewer too, either by deselection in the table or by some special key shortcut. This makes READONLY and DESELECTION orthogonal concepts.

Michael,

This behaviour is the same than a Combo or a CCombo object with SWT.READ_ONLY flag. Once a value is selected (programmatically or by user's selection), the selection can not be undone.
