In Bug 385010 attachment 221226 [details] adds capability to the pom to build and consume filesystem libraries for Linux systems using maven-antrun-plugin. Can this be merged into 3.8 and 4.2 branches?

Patch was updated, new attachment should be attachment 226316 [details]

May I ask for status? Was this put in Kepler, and just not maintenance branches? Or, is it something that should be post-Kepler?
