Description Martin Robertson CLA 2012-08-08 04:39:21 EDT
I downloaded the 32 bit version of Eclipse IDE for Java Developers (4.2) and ran it on my Windows 7 PC.

1) Open a text file in an editor.
2) Press ctrl-3 to activate Quick Access
3) Type some characters - these appear in Quick Access
4) Press Home - the cursor does not move in the Quick Access field
5) Press End - the cursor does not move in the Quick Access field
6) Press Shift+Home - the invisible cursor in the text editor will highlight the line it is on

It is clear that Home+End are being handled by the active editor rather than by Quick Access.
