Description Oliver Drotbohm CLA 2012-06-29 10:39:10 EDT
Build Identifier:

The well-known CMD+3 shortcut has been bound to the Quick Access search field in the toolbar in 4.2. Using the shortcut with the toolbar hidden, activates the toolbar again which effectively does not allow working with CMD+3 and a hidden toolbar anymore.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Hide Toolbar (e.g. CMD+3 > Toggle toolbar)
2. Toolbar disappears
3. Use CMD+3 again
4. Toolbar becomes visible again which it shouldn't

Just bumped into this - it is rather problematic that a feature like Quick access that is there to avoid having to hunt items in toolbar/menus now forces you to always have the toolbar visible.

This is very problematic when you try to focus on your editing/navigation.

Fixed in 4.4., we now show a dialog if the toolbar is hidden.
