Description Martin Oberhuber CLA 2012-05-14 05:59:31 EDT
As a user who manually set up one or more terminal connections to remote systems, I want those same connections to be available again after a quit / restart such that I can continue working where I left off.

This was possible with the old TM Terminal, so I'd like the same capability again.

Terminal sessions should optionally re-connect the remote on workspace launch automatically, especially serial line connections which often connect to a target console that I "just want to have visible" (bug 290265).

The automatic re-connect on re-start may even be default behavior; in case the automatic re-connect hangs (eg due to remote not available) or asks for a password, I want to be able to "cancel" and close the connection at that point.
