Can you please define some new "locks" for Hudson. 

One named, say "eclipeTestsWindows" and another named "eclipseTestsMac"

I've gotten word if our 3.8 tests and 4.2 test run at same time on the same machine they can interfere with each other, so want to be sure that can not happen. It shouldn't be a problem on Linux, in theory, but, just in case, if you'd prefer to be "safe from rework", you can define one for "eclipseTestsLinux" just in case I find out otherwise in the next few days.
