the user guide does not include any detail related to the new indexed filtering capabilities developed on bug 191522

yes, you can search on multiple prefixes

They are ANDed by default, but you can use keywords "AND" and "OR" (case sensitive) as well as parentheses to build more complex filters.

Feel free to improve the documentation as you see fit.
