1. Open your user profile page
2. Press Ctrl+Shift+F
3. Type a filename into the search box.
4. You'll see "Cannot call method 'search' of undefined" in the operations area.

Presumably that page doesn't register the file client service.

I see this happening on the git commit page, too.
There may be a number of pages with this problem.
It is a different symptom of the same problem described in bug 371015
