In the "Enter Anomaly details" dialogue, after selecting a rule, the data in each field is pre-filled including the extra parameters. (Class and RanK)
Then I decided the rule set was not appropriate, so I modified the description text but I am unable to modify the extra parameters (Class and Rank).
Those two fields should be available for modification

I'm not sure we should do that.  If you selected a Rule to apply for this anomaly, then you should keep the values of the rules.   Otherwise, why use rules at all?

Lets first concentrate on making it easy to remove the selected rule
