The field text contains not the actually inserted text, but the text BEFORE the carret position before the text was inserted. The reason for this is that, unlike other browser, the webkit engine fires the "input" event for the input element before the carret position has been updated.

Fixed by completely rewriting ClientScripting.js#_getDiff.
