Description Elias Volanakis CLA 2012-02-03 14:26:09 EST
On Mac Lion, the animated eclipse logo (top right) in the WebBrowserView rotates the images way too fast.

A quick look into 'activity monitor' (the Mac process manager), reveals Eclipse at >20% CPU activity (i.e. 1 of my 4 cores). This goes down to about 10% if the Browser View is closed.

This is reproducible with 4.2.M5 (and also in 3.7.1).

(A side note: the 'idle activity' -- i.e. just having Eclipse open in the Java Perspective, no open editors -- of 4.2.M5 is higher than 3.7.1.)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
