Description Carsten Reckord CLA 2012-02-03 10:43:06 EST
The 'Open EGF Activity' command has a default keybinding of Ctrl+Alt+Q. Due to Windows' emulating the AltGr key with Ctrl+Alt (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltGr_key), this collides with AltGr-Q, making it impossible to type an '@' on any keyboard with German keyboard layout.

I know that the free-shortcut-space in Eclipse is rather limited these days, but maybe you would consider assigning a different shortcut by default anyway?
Comment 1 Matthieu Helleboid CLA 2012-02-06 04:51:05 EST
To avoid other problems with any possible keyboard layouts, default keybindings for "Open EGF Activity", "Open EGF Fcore" and "Run EGF Activity" has been removed.
One is still able to assign keybindings for these commands in "Window/Preferences > General/Keys".

This issue will be fixed in the Juno release (june 2012).
Up to now, you can simply "unbind" this binding in "Window/Preferences > General/Keys".
