I think I've asked before why we have checkboxes in git log.  As far as I can see, they only make sense when you git log on a file and select two to compare.  Can we remove the checkboxes when they aren't relevant?  I think the boxes everywhere else make you think you can select and push, etc.

Compare with each other should be on the left side of the toolbar, not the right.  The right is for page navigation actions such as "next page" etc...

Minor point:  the link to the commit needs to be a "navlink" style link and not "navlinkonpage."  We use full underline when the link takes you to a new page, and dotted underline when it just refills the data on the page.  So for this case, the link needs to be an underline.
