- Perform a global search
- In the results page, click "Replace"
- In the slideout, type a replacement term.

-> At this point there are two available buttons, "Replace All", and "Close". This doesn't give me any hint that there is the ability to see a preview before actually making changes. I think the title of the first button should be something like "Preview Changes" I would be scared to hit this button without knowing whether it will actually change all my files without further prompts.

makes perfect sense to me. Fixed.
BTW, bug 369749 is planed for 0.4. From then we will have both preview and replace all in the slide out.
