Description Henning von Bargen CLA 2012-01-30 03:41:24 EST
Build Identifier: Version: Indigo Service Release 1 Build id: 20110916-0149

The Word emitter creates unusable output for tables and grids.
The left indent is too wide compared to the PDF output.

Gerald Ploner and Scott describe the behaviour precisely in their comments to bug 350586 "Word doc has unwanted indent for text items in a grid with content type html". Scott even gave a hint about the code that is causing the problem.

Please note that the issue still exists in BIRT 3.7.1.

I created a new bug for this issue as proposed by Xiaoying Gu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a report with nested grids. Set the padding to 0.
2. Generate PDF and Word output.
3. Compare the results. The word output shows incorrect padding.
