Description Grant Gayed CLA 2012-01-19 20:58:46 EST
I've written an IE extension that will ship as part of WTP (though note that its development has been done under the umbrella of Orion). The deliverable includes 2-3 Windows binary files that need to be digitally signed in order for the extension's displayed Publisher to lose its "(Not verified)" qualifier in IE's "Manage Add-ons" dialog.

Bug 319605 indicates that the Foundation has set something up for signing Windows binary files. I just need to be able to manually transfer 2-3 individual files to the Windows machine that can do the signing, have each of them signed there, and then transfer them back. I am requesting access to the machine (Ken Walker is CC'd, he's the Orion lead), and any instructions/pointers that would be helpful.

The only available access to the Hudson windows slave is via Hudson. I will happily create a job for you. How does 'wtp-sign' sound?

Perhaps the name should be more specific. Is "IECrossfireServer-sign" fine?

Ok, done.
