Description Curtis Windatt CLA 2012-01-19 12:02:51 EST
Seen in 3.7.2 and 4.2
M20120118-0800, I20120117-2200

1) Have two launch configurations saved
2) Select a configuration and rename it
3) Without saving, select another configuration
4) At the prompt select yes to save
Result:
The selection changes to the second configuration, then reverts to the renamed one.

Notes:
Changing an attribute on a tab instead of renaming keeps the proper selection.
Choosing no when prompted to save also keeps the proper selection.
When selection changes, the tabs update to the new selection then quickly change back. The tree selection and tab content do stay in sync (unlike old-school bug 13441)

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

If the bug is still relevant, please remove the "stalebug" whiteboard tag.
