Description DJ Houghton CLA 2012-01-19 10:48:14 EST
Cloned to track release into 3.7.2. Michael, please add your +1 review for release into the maintenance branch.

I'll add the bundle to the Orbit maintenance build (which will happen today). I've opened bug 369098 to track release into the Orbit maintenance stream.

Kim, the build will be promoted tomorrow and can be included in the Platform then.

+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #367328 +++

Build Identifier: M20110909-1335

Somewhere between the upgrade from Ant 1.7.1 to 1.8.2, it appears the "bin" directory was dropped from the org.apache.ant plug-in.

The scripts contained within are handy for running ant builds from the command-line when a separately-installed version of Ant is not available.

Note that this is in contrast to the Ant plug-in's about.html file which states the following:

"The Ant binary code in ant.jar and the scripts ant, ant.bat, ant.cmd, antenv.cmd, antRun, antRun.bat, antRun.pl, complete-ant-cmd.pl, envset.cmd, lcp.bat, runant.pl, runant.py and runrc.cmd are included with the plug-in with no modifications."

This implies that the bin directory was supposed to be included.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Browse to the plugins/org.apache.ant_1.8.2.v20110505-1300 folder within an Eclipse 3.7.1 install.
2. Look for the "bin" directory
3. Notice it isn't there :)

The Orbit build is done and I've verified the bin folder and the scripts are included.
The build I checked was M20120119162704.

Fixed.
